Ouagadougou as the capital for the African Online Training

With the consolidation of 2iE, the platform of the Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering, Ouagadougou has become the African epicenter of online training. With the aim of training professionals and social entrepreneurs capable of starting new business forms, 2iE intended to provide solutions to the problems of sanitation and access to clean water or to promote new forms of development through environmental initiatives. Thus, after seven years of operation, 2iE has become the largest online university of Africa.

Able to absorb students beyond Burkina Faso, 2ie currently has users from Mali, Congo, Cameroon, Gabon, Niger and Togo, and outside the continent has people from Canada and France.
