Trade between Turkey and Namibia doubles since opening of Windhoek embassy

Speaking at the celebration of Turkey’s 90th independence anniversary in Windhoek recently, Turkish Ambassador to Namibia, Murat Ahmet Yörük said that bilateral trade between Namibia and Turkey has doubled since Turkey opened a fully-fledged emabssy in Windhoek in 2012, with $10 million worth of goods traded between the two countries.

According to New Era, since the opening of the embassy in Namibia’s capital city, Turkish diplomatic staff have been working to increase further cooperation in political dialogue, trade, investments, aviation, military, education and visa facilitation.
