The annual Future of Cities Forum brings together 150 mayors, city planners, scientists and representatives of civil society and the private sector to discuss key challenges for future urban development. This year’s Forum takes place in Kampala, Uganda and is the fourth in a series on regenerative cities organized by the World Future Council.
The FCF Kampala 2014 will be the first of its kind in Africa. The forum brings together urban policy makers, practioners, city administrators, planners, professionals, academicians, development partners, private sector and civil society to discuss key challenges and opportunities for sustainable urban development. The forum also provides a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in urban management from around the world while allowing participants to develop a shared vision for their cities and build consensus on key policy and strategic actions that need to be undertaken to achieve the city we need.
