The Safety and Violence Initiative (SaVI) at the University of Cape Town is inviting abstracts for papers to be presented at a conference entitled Preventing Violence and Promoting Safety in Fragile and Insecure Environments.
The conference takes place from 27 to 28 November 2017 at the River Club in Observatory, Cape Town.
The multidisciplinary conference offers an opportunity for researchers from all relevant academic disciplines working on violence prevention and safety promotion to represent their latest research. Practitioners involved in the field are also encouraged to submit abstracts.
Submit a 300-word abstract which includes the paper title as well as research objectives, methodology ad findings. Please also include a short bio and contract details along with the abstract to firstname.lastname@example.org by 6 October 2017.
Successful applicants will be informed by 13 October 2017.
The deadline for the submissio of the conference papers is 23 October 2017.
