The Centre for Regional, Economic and Social Research (CRESR) welcomes PhD studentship applications aligned with the multi-disciplinary interests of CRESR staff across planning, geography, sociology and economics.  Applications are particularly welcome on topics related to:

  • welfare reform
  • housing – including housing and welfare reform, housing and young people, housing and inequality
  • sustainability and low carbon futures
  • young people and the labour market
